This applies to all vehicles with central configuration in body computer: If re-installing older (used) or new ECU, configuration transfer from body computer must be performed. Fiat Proxi alignment in body computer may also be required if adding a new feature to the vehicle.

Please note: some ECUs do not support configuration data transfer, FiCOM reports error in such case. This is normal.

Symptoms

Incorrect configuration fault code stored in newly installed ECU, blinking "—-" symbols in odometer place.
