When an airbag is deployed, crash data are registered in the RCM control unit. On selected models fire protection in BCM module is activated as well.

This function is used to disable the fire protection system and reactivate RCM module. Clear crash data record has to be performed in RCM control unit and in BCM (if applicable/available in BCM coding menu).

Please note that RCM control units usually allow to perform crash data record clearing only limited times due to accelerometer deterioration.
