Renault Nissan Injectors Coding
Supported coding features by RenCOM diagnostic tool https://www.obdtester.com/rencom
What it does
- Codes and programs fuel injectors in the engine control unit (ECU)
- Stores individual injector correction codes
- Ensures precise fuel injection, smooth engine operation, and correct emissions
When it is required
- After injector replacement
- After engine control unit replacement or reprogramming
- After major fuel system repairs
- When injector-related fault codes or rough engine running occur
Conditions that must be met
- Vehicle stationary
- Ignition ON
- Engine OFF (unless diagnostic tool specifies otherwise)
- Stable battery voltage
- Diagnostic tool connected
- Correct injectors installed
What happens during coding
- Injector correction codes are entered and stored in ECU
- ECU synchronizes injection timing and quantity
- Plausibility checks of injector signals are performed
- Fault codes are cleared if present
If coding is not performed
- Rough idle or poor engine performance
- Increased fuel consumption and emissions
- Injector-related fault codes may remain active
After coding
- Verify injector parameters in live data
- Clear any remaining fault codes
- Perform test drive
- Confirm smooth engine operation
