- Protects the compressor from premature wear
When it is required
- After replacing the AC compressor
- After opening the refrigerant system
- After major AC system repairs
Conditions that must be met
- AC system fully evacuated and recharged
- Correct type and amount of refrigerant and oil
- No leaks in the system
- Engine running
- Stable battery voltage
What happens during the procedure

- Load and pressure are gradually increased
- Oil is circulated through:
- Compressor
- Condenser
- Evaporator
If procedure is not performed
- Compressor may be damaged
- Increased noise and wear
- Reduced cooling performance
- Shortened compressor lifespan
After break-in
- Verify AC pressure and temperature
- Check for abnormal noise
- Confirm stable cooling operation
