Porsche Pressure Sensor Calibration
Supported coding features by PoCOM diagnostic tool https://www.obdtester.com/pocom
What it does
- Calibrates axial acceleration, lateral acceleration, and brake pressure sensors
- Ensures accurate measurements for ABS, PSM, and traction control systems
- Supports correct vehicle stability and braking behavior
Includes
- Calibrate axial acceleration sensor
- Calibrate lateral acceleration sensor
- Calibrate pressure sensor
When it is required
- After sensor or control unit replacement
- After suspension or brake system repairs
- When ABS/PSM warning lights or fault codes appear
- During routine diagnostics if sensor values are inconsistent
Conditions that must be met
- Vehicle stationary on level ground
- Ignition ON
- Stable battery voltage
- Diagnostic tool connected
- No active critical ABS/PSM faults
What happens during calibration
- Sensors’ zero points and reference values are stored
- Control unit adjusts stability and braking algorithms
- Sensor plausibility checks are performed
If calibration is not performed
- Incorrect ABS or PSM intervention
- Fault codes or warning lights may remain
- Reduced vehicle stability and braking performance
After calibration
- Verify sensor values in live data
- Clear any fault codes
- Perform short test drive
- Confirm correct ABS/PSM and traction control operation
