PDK Calibration

What it does

• Performs comprehensive calibration of the PDK (dual-clutch) transmission
• Ensures correct operation of shift rods, clutches, and hydraulics

Conditions that must be met

• Transmission oil at recommended temperature
• Stable battery voltage
• Diagnostic tool connected

What happens during calibration

• Shift rods and gear engagement positions are adapted
• Clutch actuation points are learned
• Hydraulic pressures are adjusted
• Fluid fill mode ensures proper lubrication and pressure levels

If calibration is not performed

• Harsh or delayed gear shifts
• Clutch slipping or improper engagement
• Fault codes or warning lights
• Reduced transmission lifespan

After calibration

• Perform adaptation test drive
• Verify shifting quality and clutch behavior
• Check transmission parameters in live data
• Confirm no fault codes remain
