Porsche PDK Calibration
Supported coding features by PoCOM diagnostic tool https://www.obdtester.com/pocom
What it does
- Performs comprehensive calibration of the PDK (dual-clutch) transmission
- Ensures correct operation of shift rods, clutches, and hydraulics
- Prepares transmission for optimal performance and longevity
Includes
- Calibrate shift rods
- Calibrate clutches
- Calibrate hydraulics
- Fluid fill mode
When it is required
- After transmission assembly or mechatronics replacement
- After clutch or actuator replacement
- After hydraulic system repair or fluid change
- When shifting problems or fault codes occur
Conditions that must be met
- Vehicle stationary
- Engine running at idle
- Transmission in neutral/P as specified
- Transmission oil at recommended temperature
- Stable battery voltage
- Diagnostic tool connected
What happens during calibration
- Shift rods and gear engagement positions are adapted
- Clutch actuation points are learned
- Hydraulic pressures are adjusted
- Fluid fill mode ensures proper lubrication and pressure levels
If calibration is not performed
- Harsh or delayed gear shifts
- Clutch slipping or improper engagement
- Fault codes or warning lights
- Reduced transmission lifespan
After calibration
- Perform adaptation test drive
- Verify shifting quality and clutch behavior
- Check transmission parameters in live data
- Confirm no fault codes remain
